Vectra is a Google Sheets add-on that helps users clean and standardize spreadsheet data. This Privacy Policy explains what information Vectra processes, why it is processed, and how to contact us.
Information Vectra processes
Vectra may process the following information when you use the add-on:
- Your Google account email and Firebase user identifier when you sign in to Vectra.
- Spreadsheet values in the columns you choose to detect or clean.
- Cleaning settings you provide, such as target date format, default phone region, custom instructions, validation hints, and selected columns.
- Gemini API keys you enter into the add-on, used to make the cleaning requests you initiate.
- Operational information such as timestamps, errors, and summary counts needed to operate and improve the add-on.
How Vectra uses information
Vectra uses information to:
- Authenticate your Vectra account and keep your add-on session active.
- Detect spreadsheet columns that may contain dates, phone numbers, or custom data to clean.
- Standardize selected spreadsheet data and write cleaned values and notes back to the active spreadsheet.
- Call external services required for the product, including Firebase authentication and Google Gemini model APIs.
- Provide support, diagnose errors, prevent misuse, and improve product reliability.
Google user data
Vectra only accesses spreadsheet data that you choose to process through the Google Sheets add-on. Vectra does not request broad access to all of your Google Drive files. The add-on uses the current spreadsheet scope so it can operate inside the spreadsheet where it is installed.
AI processing
Some cleaning actions may send selected spreadsheet values, user-provided instructions, and related context to Google Gemini APIs. Vectra sends only the rows and columns required for the action you request.
API keys
If you enter a Gemini API key, Vectra uses it to call Gemini for actions you start from the add-on. Do not share API keys with people you do not trust.
Data sharing
Vectra does not sell your personal information. Vectra may share data with service providers only as needed to operate the product, including Firebase authentication, Google Apps Script services, and Google Gemini APIs.
Data retention
Vectra keeps account and operational records only as long as needed to provide the service, support users, comply with legal obligations, and improve reliability. Spreadsheet data processed during a cleaning action is used for that action and related diagnostics.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by Vectra. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can stop using Vectra at any time, remove the add-on from Google Sheets, and revoke access from your Google Account permissions page. You can contact us to request help with account or data questions.
